URGENT SAFETY RECALL - TAKATA AIRBAG
Vehicles fitted with specific Takata airbags have been recalled globally, due to a risk of the airbag rupturing in the event of a deployment. This recall affects millions of vehicles from various manufacturers, with around 1.3 million vehicles affected in Australia.
Although the fault may only be present in a small number of vehicles, it carries a risk of serious injury or fatality. FCA AUSTRALIA regards the safety of our customers and their families as paramount and is fully committed to producing a vehicle with long-lasting reliability. As such, we are urgently recalling all vehicles fitted with this airbag.

HOW DO I KNOW WHETHER MY VEHICLE IS SUBJECT TO A TAKATA RECALL?
FCA will contact you if your vehicle is subject to a Takata recall. As such, it is very important to keep your contact details up to date.
If your contact details have changed, or you have sold your Jeep vehicle, you may update your contact details by contacting Customer Care at takata.au@fcagroup.com.
Please note: Vehicles not under active recall may be recalled at a later date. All planned future recalls are set out in the Recall Initiation Schedule. While the Supplier will seek to contact affected Consumers directly at the relevant time, they may be unable to do so if the Consumer's accurate contact details are not up to date.
